Safeguard Technologies

How We Work

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Every person is different, and so is the support they need. That’s why we take a personal, hands-on approach, taking the time to understand your lifestyle, your concerns, and what independence means to you.

National coverage. Personal service. Local support where available.

Safeguard Technologies provides personal safety devices and telecare solutions to customers across the UK. Our aim is simple: to help people live safely, confidently and independently, while providing reassurance to family members and carers.

We combine easy-to-use technology with friendly, personal support. Unlike many large providers, we’re small enough to offer individual guidance, while delivering services that can be used nationwide.

Working Together for the Right Solution

1

Choose the right device

Everyone’s circumstances are different. Whether you’re looking for support for yourself, a parent, partner or someone you care for, we’ll help identify the most suitable device and response option based on your needs, lifestyle and level of support required.

Not sure where to start? Complete our Find The Right Device assessment and we’ll provide a personalised recommendation.

2

Order Your Device

Once you’ve chosen the right solution, we’ll prepare your device and create your account. This includes configuring the device, setting up emergency contacts and ensuring the correct response pathway is in place.

3

Setup & Activation

Most customers receive a fully configured device that is ready to use straight out of the box.

For customers on the Isle of Wight and selected surrounding areas, we offer a local home setup and demonstration service, helping you become familiar with the device and answering any questions you may have.

4

Ongoing Protection

Once activated, your device is there whenever you need it. Depending on your chosen package, alerts can be handled by nominated family and friends or by a UK-based 24/7 Monitoring Centre. Many devices also include features such as GPS location support, fall detection and two-way communication for additional reassurance.

5

Ongoing Support

Our relationship doesn’t end when your device is delivered. We’re here to help with account updates, contact changes, technical support and advice if your needs change in the future. Whether you’re a customer across the UK or here on the Isle of Wight, you’ll always be able to speak to a real person when you need assistance.
