How our service works

Our aim is to provide reassurance, independence and a fast way to call for help when it's needed. Safeguard is not a responder service and we do not provide carers or emergency responders. Instead, your SOS alert is sent to your chosen family and friends, or to our professional 24/7 monitoring team, who will assess the situation and contact the most appropriate person or emergency service if required.

* About automatic fall detection

Automatic fall detection is designed to identify certain types of falls and send an alert without the wearer pressing the SOS button. However, no fall detection technology can detect every fall or guarantee that an alert will always be triggered. Whenever possible, we recommend pressing the SOS button directly if assistance is needed. Automatic fall detection should be considered an additional layer of reassurance, not a substitute for manually raising an alarm.
